About
Lynne Cockrum-Murphy, Ed.D., L.I.S.A.C. is an intuitive consultant specializing in supporting spiritual people to achieve freedom from limiting beliefs, to improve career success, and to embrace an expanding sense of self and possibility. She uses ThetaHealing, channeling and counseling skills to support clients in all their personal goals.
Lynne has a background in education and counseling. She received her Bachelors of Science from the University of Nevada, Reno, her Masters in Special Education from the University of Oregon and her Doctorate in Education Administration from Arizona State University. Lynne taught special education in all grades from elementary to high school. She is a retired an adjunct professor for Northern Arizona University in the bachelors and masters education programs.
She is the author of four books; Unfolding the Mystery of Self – We are Never Alone, Living Hope – Leave Suffering Behind and Stronger at the Broken Places: Growing Up in Chaos and the Journey from Suffering to Self-Actualization and her first book of fiction A Journey with Matityahu - Awakening, followed by A Journey with Matityahu - Book 2.
As an Arizona licensed substance abuse counselor Lynne has worked for a treatment agency as well as with private clients. She is an advanced level certified ThetaHealer®. She continues to teach and maintains a private practice focusing on ThetaHealing in Phoenix, Arizona where she lives.
She has followed a spiritual life, studying and practicing Buddhist, Christian and Metaphysical/New Age teachings since the age of 17. Lynne has been a teacher of mindfulness practices since 1978 and provides support to those seeking a spiritual life of purpose and meaning, teaching classes and providing intuitive guidance and healing throughout the western United States.
